Energy Studio Manager is now available for free download because Elcontrol Energy Net Srl has deveoped a brand new cloud based monitoring platform: Energy Studio Cloud.

Energy Studio Cloud represents a strong and scalable monitoring platform that, even starting from a simple configuration, can then grow (step by step) up to a real and professional “Control room”.

As standard ESC (Energy Studio Cloud) offers in bundle all the features and functionalities of Energy Studio Manager for networks of up to 20 Elcontrol Analyzers, but without any need of local software installation and local server availability; as a consequence of the cloud base technology, data will be available wherever to as many users as needed without constraints.

Standard package

Standard package is focused on following main requirements:

• One plant (we identify the “plant” as a location where all analyzers can be connected without a transit through the Internet)
• Available connectivity to the Internet via Etherner or Wifi
• Satellite or plan view of the plant
• Connection of analyzers (existing or to be set) via 485
• Exclusively Elcontrol analyzers
• Up to 20 analyzers

Forniture will include one already configured polling device where 485 connection line will have to be connected; after system deployment, customer will receive a connection link and account details (user and password).

ESC pricing is composed as follows:

• Fix cost including
  • polling hardware
  • configuration and deployment of network
  • connection up to 20 Elcontrol Analyzers
  • 1 year of assistance
•  Annual fee per analyzer in the network

Existing Energy Studio Manager users

For existing Energy Studio Manager users, upgrade procedure is a very lean and simple:

• Communicate to Elcontrol following info:
  • Number and ID’s of existing Elcontrol analyzers in the Network
  • Available local IP for polling device
  • Gateway and subnet mask of your network
  • If conection to your local network will be Ethernet, nothing else; if it will be wifi based, wifi cnnection parameters will be required
• Elcontrol will configure polling device
• Once received the polling device:
  • Just connect to the network (Ethernet or Wifi)
  • Disconnect 485 line from the local server where Energy Studio Manager is running
  • Connect 485 to the polling device
• Click on the link received by email
• Login to Energy Studio Cloud

Customizations and extensions

ESC can be the upgraded (later and progressively) by adding for example:

• chunks of 20 additional Elcontrol analyzers
• add more plants in the network by adding additional polling devices
• link to third parties analyzers: Elcontrol will install appropriate drivers to your account
• link to whichever ambient sensors:  Elcontrol will install appropriate drivers to your account
• install active hardware devices to the system so that you can act remotely on the system (switch on and off lights or devices, i.e.)
• plant view can be structured in layers according to the zoom level user sets
• customized views or data panels can be developed according to customer specifications
• system can be installed on a cloud server owned by customer avoidinf Elcontrol ones
